He also works one day each week in a smaller practice in Plymouth.

Warwick Downes -After ten years running his own business, he studied at the British School of Osteopathy, graduating in 1989, and moved back to his home county of Devon. He enjoys travel, walking and playing in local bands.
Colin Crewdson – qualified 27 years ago after a career spanning teaching and archaelogy, farming and psychiatric work, both at home and abroad, and established St David's Osteopathic Clinic in 1985. David Stainer-Smith - born in Exeter and grew up locally, studied sports at university before training as an osteopath. His hobbies include rugby, weight training and saxophone playing, as well as relaxing on the beach.
His special interests are sports injuries and rehabilitation.

We all spend a significant amount of time each year on Continuous Professional Development, attending courses and conferences, to update and expand our knowledge. These courses include paediatrics, visceral osteopathy and sports medicine, as well as pathology and anatomy.
In common with all osteopaths, we are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). The GOsC, set up by the Osteopaths Act 1993, has a statutory role in regulating the profession and protecting patients.
